I’ve always been motivated by a single goal: empowering people. I do this work because I genuinely love the "tricky" intersection where business goals and human needs meet. I know that this balance looks different for every company and every culture.

I enjoy working with creative people. My HR practice is where I apply my own creativity. I believe HR shouldn't be a rigid department of "no," but a design partner that helps build something exciting and meaningful. A wise woman once told me that "culture is either by design, or by default." I’m here to help you choose design.

There is rarely one "correct" answer to a problem. Instead, the answer lies in your company’s values and your vision as a founder. These are the North Stars that guide our decision-making when we work together. 

In today’s landscape, I am a firm believer in an "AI-first" workplace, but with a crucial caveat: AI gets you a good start, but you need humans for humans. 

My work is backed by a solid academic foundation. I hold a Bachelors Degree in International Relations from Simon Fraser University, which gave me the global perspective needed to manage multi-entity teams. I also hold a Certificate in Strategic HR Management, ensuring that my "creative" approach is always anchored in best practices and compliance. I have experience working primarily in the private tech sector, but also in public institutions and NGOs.

Im based in the Cowichan Valley, on beautiful Vancouver Island, but partenr with remote teams all over North America.
